Vibrio Harvest Calculator

The Vibrio Harvest Calculator allows the user to predict Vibrio parahaemolyticus doubling scenarios based on harvest location, date, and time. These scenarios indicate how many doublings of the Vibrio bacteria population will occur with each cooling scenario. At harvest times with air temperatures staying below 50°F, the calculator assumes no Vibrio growth and will return 0 doublings.

To use the calculator, first choose your location within the boundaries of the red polygon by either dragging the map marker, entering an address, or inputting latitude/longitude. Then input your harvest date (up to 7 days out) as well as start and end times (ET). Lastly, submit your information by clicking the "Calculate" button and receive the doubling scenario results.
